So here are the wonderful resources from Newby Leisure. We currently have them standing on bricks because of their position in our outdoor area, but when we move them, they will come off the bricks, it is also possible to adjust it when you attach the feet in the first place!
So far, we’ve used them in a few ways, but if you have any more suggestions, I’d love to hear them!…
Painting on the Painting Window
They absolutely love this!
Shaving Foam on the Painting Window
A lovely sensory experience…
Making Marks in Shaving Foam on the Painting Window
This happened naturally…
Soapy Water on the Painting Window
Simple Chalk on the Chalkboard
Mark making in an upright position is great for their gross motor skills and can be a super way to work on name writing…
Wet Chalk on the Chalkboard
The colours are more vibrant when the chalk is wet…
Cleaning the boards is great for gross motor skills too!
Other Ways we Make Marks Outdoors
Paint and Water
Chalk on a Wet Day
Again, more vibrant colours…
Mark Making Trolley
Actually a cleaning trolley, but perfect for this purpose. (I shared this previously in my Outdoors at My Setting post)…
I love that they will mark make anywhere, if the provision allows for it…
Powder Paint in the Rain
Messy, but amazing!
Sticks and Snow
A light dusting of snow and sticks to make marks…
So how do you mark make outdoors. I’d love some alternative suggestions – and please let me know if you have any other ideas for our painting window!
Hope you’re enjoying the summer! Thanks for reading!
Would love you to come & say hello! 🙂
