Christmas Last Year

Christmas Last Year

I didn’t have time to share what we got up to at Christmas last year (although you may have seen some pics on my Instagram page), so thought I’d share some of  the activities we enjoyed now.

By the way, sorry for the lack of posts recently; I’ve got a lot going on in my life right now.

Pine Cone Trees

This idea has been shared all over Instagram and we hadn’t tried it before, so I thought I’d set it up for the children to try. We discovered it was much easier to push the pom-poms into the tree than pull them out – tweezers were added for this purpose! A great fine motor challenge!

We do this every year – tinsel, baubles and Christmas boxes they love pretending to give each other (or us) a present and the boxes are perfect for this. Lovely language as they explore the decorations too…
